8:35 – 9:20 AM | Watch Youtube presentation on Intro to Congress and watch sample video of a congress chamber in session |
9:20 – 9:40 AM | Discussion in breakout rooms |
9:40 – 9:55 AM | Break |
9:55 – 10:40 AM |
Watch Youtube presentation on case writing and then watch a video of a pre-recorded congress speech while flowing it based on the structure from the video |
10:40 – 11:00 AM | Discussion in breakout rooms |
11:00 – 11:40 AM | Students will do a “claim-warrant-impact" drill in breakout rooms |

Watch Youtube presentation of a live session writing out a speech on a sample bill |
